Restrictions, concern and uncertainty are responsible for the decision to cancel JediCon WV 2020.
As of this writing, there are over 3,500 reported cases of the COVID-19 in 53 jurisdictions (49 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and US Virgin Islands). While West Virginia remains virus free, Mike and I do not want to risk contamination among any of the attendees.
Further, we are complying with the Center for Disease Control’s recommendations to limit the number of persons at a gathering, as well as discouraging unnecessary travel.
We will be rescheduling for next year, tentatively, for June 19, 2021, at the New Martinsville United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
